01Who we are
These terms are between you and Machina Totalis Inc., based in Camarillo, Ventura County, California.
02Using this website
- The content here describes our services and is provided as is. It is not an offer or a contract.
- Do not try to break, overload, or scrape the site, or use it to send spam or harmful content.
- Machina Totalis, the site design, and the copy are ours. Product names and logos of third-party tools belong to their owners and appear only to show what we build with.
03The app scanner (/scan)
- Scan only what is yours. You must own the site or app, or have written permission from whoever does. By running a scan you confirm that, and you are responsible for it.
- The scan is read-only. It sends the ordinary requests a browser sends when it loads a page and its scripts, checks a short list of well-known paths, and, where it finds a public database key in your own bundle, checks whether your tables answer to that key. It writes nothing, changes nothing, and does not sign in as anyone.
- It is not a penetration test. It finds a specific list of common problems and misses everything else. A clean grade does not mean your app is secure.
- We store nothing from a scan unless you ask us to email you the results.
- We may refuse, stop, or rate-limit scans at any time. If a scan of your site is unwelcome, tell us and we will block it.
04The contact form
What you send goes to our internal inbox system so an engineer can reply. See the privacy page for where it goes and how long we keep it. Ask and we delete it.
05How we contract work
A summary, not the contract.
- Fixed price per milestone. Every milestone has a written definition of done and a price before it starts. We do not bill by the hour.
- You own the code and the repository from day one. We work in your accounts.
- 30-day fix warranty. If something we shipped breaks in the 30 days after handover, we fix it at no charge.
- The signed proposal and agreement govern. They name the scope, the price, the dates, and the engineers. Where they differ from this page, they win.
06Liability
To the extent the law allows, Machina Totalis Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website or the scanner. Our liability for client work is set by the signed agreement.
07Governing law
California law governs these terms. Disputes are resolved in Ventura County, California.
