General

6 questions
What do you build?

Web applications, mobile apps, MVPs, APIs and backends, AI features, business automation, and data pipelines. We also take over and fix existing codebases.

What technologies do you work with?

Mostly TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Docker, deployed to Railway or your own cloud. React Native or Swift for mobile. Claude and OpenAI models for AI features. If you already have a stack, we usually work in it.

Do I own the source code?

Yes, all of it, from day one. The repository, hosting, domains, and API keys are in your accounts. There are no licence fees and nothing to hand over at the end.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before you share anything sensitive. Your ideas and business information stay confidential.

How are you different from a freelancer or an agency?

Compared with a freelancer, you get a team, a review gate on every change, and no single point of failure. Compared with an agency, you talk directly to the engineers building your product, with no account manager in between, and you pay per milestone, not per hour.

Where are you based?

Camarillo, California. We work on Pacific time and reply to every inquiry within one business day.

Pricing and process

8 questions
How does pricing work?

Fixed price per milestone, agreed in writing before work starts. Each milestone has a definition of done. After a 30-minute call we send a proposal with the scope, the timeline, and the price within 48 hours. We do not bill by the hour, and the price does not change unless the scope does, in writing.

Why is there no price list on the site?

Because the honest price depends on scope, and a number without a scope is a guess. The proposal gives you a fixed number within 48 hours of the call, and the call is free.

How long does a project take?

MVPs usually take 2 to 4 weeks, web applications 4 to 8 weeks, mobile apps 6 to 10 weeks, and larger systems 8 to 12 weeks. Your proposal states your dates.

How do you communicate during a project?

A shared Slack channel with the engineers building your product, a demo every week on the live staging link, and a repo where you can watch commits land. You will never wonder what is happening.

Can I see progress during development?

Yes. We deploy to a staging link from the first week, and the repo is in your account, so you can see every change as it lands.

What happens after launch?

Every launch includes a 30-day fix warranty: if something we shipped breaks, we fix it at no charge. You also get a runbook in your repo. For ongoing work, we offer a monthly plan with a named engineer. If you do not need one, you keep everything and we step back.

What is the free 7-day build?

Give us one narrow problem. In seven days you get a working slice, built by our agents and reviewed by an engineer, with the code in your repo. If you like it, we keep building. If not, the code is yours to keep. We take a limited number at a time, so it is by application.

What if I am not happy with the work?

Each milestone has a written definition of done. If what we deliver does not meet it, we fix it until it does, at no extra cost. Most problems are caught earlier, at the weekly demo.

Technical

4 questions
Can you work with my existing codebase?

Yes. We start with a code review and a ranked list of risks, then propose what to fix and what to leave alone. We keep what works.

My app was built with an AI app builder. Can you fix it?

Yes, it is a common request. These apps often ship with keys in the browser, database tables anyone can read, and no tests. Run the free scan for a first look, then send us read-only access and we will quote the fix.

How do you make sure the code is good?

TypeScript or typed Python, tests on the paths that matter, CI on every branch, and a senior engineer reviewing every change before it merges. Every project ends with monitoring, error tracking, and a runbook.

Do you handle deployment and hosting?

Yes. We set up CI/CD, hosting on Railway or your preferred cloud, domains and SSL, monitoring, logging, and error tracking. Everything is in your accounts.

Working with AI

3 questions
Do you use AI to write code?

Yes, openly. AI coding agents draft features, tests, and migrations in parallel, each in its own branch. That is how a small team moves fast. A senior engineer reviews every change, and nothing reaches production because a model said it was fine.

Does AI train on my code?

No. The agents work in your repo for your project only. They run on accounts with training on customer data turned off, and we will confirm that in writing on request.

What happens when an agent writes something wrong?

It happens on most projects. Tests catch some of it and the reviewing engineer catches the rest, and the change goes back with notes. It does not reach your users.

Still have a question?

Ask it. A person reads every message and replies within one business day.
